Daniel Neuendorf has been with Modern Die Systems since its beginning in 1970. As a young boy, he cut the grass, swept the floor and gradually learned what tool & die is all about. In 1980 he began working here full time learning to run one machine after another until 1984 when he moved to the drafting machine. Next came computerization and he began his CAD designing with AutoCAD version 2.5 and an 80286 PC. He has kept Modern Die Systems up to date in its engineering capabilities, but has not lost sight of the primary goal of the designer to design a simple and reliable tool and to communicate that design as clearly as he can.

In July of 2001, Daniel succeded his father, Jim, as the president of Modern Die Systems. His goal is to lift Modern Die Systems to ever higher levels of quality and capability in service to the metal forming and stamping industry. "We want Modern Die Systems to be seen as a shining example of quality, service and integrity both in our industry and in the business world at large."
